Got a question... Does anyone have any good ideas for this Medifast menu? Thanks in advance for any comment. Second question.. Hi all,.

As I prepare for.

Surgery.

Next Tuesday, I'm doing a lot of thinking about what my life is going to be like post-op. I came into this journey knowing that I wanted to change my life for the better and.

Lose weight.

, but I never really decided on a goal weight. Has anyone else been like this, or did you all have a goal weight in mind? I've thought about all the things I'm excited to be able to do from losing weight, but an exact number hasn't really crossed my mind..

Thanks!.

Erin..

Yep, however you might wanna make sure and wait for another member here to confirm this as I am not very confident. Better yet, why don't you ask the Medifast guys because they can give you an answer better...

I was at 365 when I started so my first goal was to get under 200 lbs and I'd be happy. Then I got to 185 and I wanted for once not be the heaviest person in the house. AFter my panniculectomy I did that. My son and hubby both weighed 165 and I for a short time was 164 :) and I was in heaven. I based out though from 165-170 and fluctuated up and downShort term goals are best cause they are more attainalbe and will be less stress on you. I know you'll be able to do it...

I did set my first goal wanting to weigh 140 by my 1 year check-upAlthough my real goal is to try and get to 125 and stay there. I know I can do this. Good Luck to you on your journey I'm sure you'll do just fine..

Surgery.

Was 7-23-09. I am 148 today and my goal weight is 130 - almost there!!.

I asked my doctor what his goal weight was for me - that's how I got a number, but his number for me was 115 which I decided was a little low. I'm 5'4 btw. At the rate I'm losing though, I probably will be closer to 115 by the time I'm done..

You will LOVE the new you - my new size 10 jeans are getting baggy already - awwwww - NOT! Size 8 here I come!!! lol..

Good luck and best wishes to you!!.

My goal weight is 130. I was 256 when I had the.

Surgery.

On 11/23/2009 and I have lost 64 lbs since then. Another 62 to go!!! I am 5'0 and my doc says that I should weigh around 100 but I can't picture that!!! It all really depends on what your build is. I'd say I'm a medium build cause I have always been muscular. So even though I can't remember what 130 feels like ( I think I was in 4th grade..!) I still think that weight would be good for my body type. You are gonna love the new you!..

I set an overall goal with my surgeon so he could skillfully help me in my journey, then set a number of intermediate goals. Just like in the rest of our lives, we need short-term, intermediate and long-term goals to keep us ever moving forward and growing as people. My best advice is to not make them all related to the scale...

I have a goal weight of between 110 and 120, I'll be happy anywhere in there! I started at 250 and I am down 40 lbs so far so I am well on my way! I haven't set little goals, I really don't have any, I am just amazed as to how clothes fit me differently each and every day...

Looking at the group...it's amazing what people have achieved. At my peak I was 278...260 at.

.my goal was to be under 200...didn't realize how successful people have been. I figure it's a work in process but am very hopeful when I read about people's successes. guess it all come down to.

I was 215 before.

Surgery.

At 5'3". My first goal is to get in the 150s which I haven't seen in 12 years and then ultimately to get to 120. I'm out of.

Surgery.

3 wks and between the post-op Medifast diet and after.

Surgery.

Loss, I'm now at 178. Hopefully in another 6 wks, I'll hit my first goal..

Another big goal is to simply be able to shop for clothes in the regular sections of a store and not the plus-size area or Lane Bryant. I'm not there yet, but I did "unsubscribe" to Lane Bryant emails as I'm mentally preparing for myself to get there :-)..

Well, from the start of this journey (230 lbs) I said I wanted to be 150, but now that I am 162, I've decided I'd like to get to 140 (but keep all the clothes that fit at 150) so that when the honeymoon period is over if I gain 10 pounds I'll still feel good about myself...

I started at 332 March 18th of 2009....I'm a week shy of being at my surgiversury and I have lost 129 lbs. My goal would be 150...my surgeon never really discussed a goalI think I would be happy w/ 175 tho...so about 50 or so lbs to go yet....I'll get there, has just been harder lately!!! :).

Best wishes!! Erica..

I started this journey at 366 and I thought "Man I want to loose 200 lbs" that would put my goal weight at 166. Doc said goal weighth should be between 150 and 175 for my height and body frame size, so I am right in the middle there. I must admit that going into.

Surgery.

I thought I would never reach that goal but now I weigh in at 212 and I realize that I just might make it to that goal. I even think for my body size now I may just want to go alittle more...
