First off, Does Nokia 6303i can show battery indicator or signal bars in Medifast menu? Many thanks for any comment. My other question... Hello everyone,.

I am home. I was in the hospital 5 days. They found some blood clots but they are working on those. I'm still in some pain and loopy from the drugs but I survived it. I'm on.

For a little while, but hopefully not more than a week or two..

I actually gained 10 lbs in the hospital. Its obviously not from overeating, but still I wnted to see the needle nove the other direction at least a little bit. has anyone encountered that?.

Oh well, soon...

So glad you're home and everything is ok careful with those blood clots, if you start to bleed somewhere, you're gonna bleed lots, you're prolly on blood thinners now. All those fluids they gave you in the hosp is why you put on the weight, those iv bags weigh 2lbs each. I was in the hosp for 4 days so right behind ya. Congrats on the.

I came home with the.

Too, got it off at my 1 week checkup, gained weight too. are you doing the lung exercises on that thing, is it a spirometer? , anyway, I did those religiously and got my lungs up to par and I still do them 8-10 times a day because it scared me that my lungs wouldn't reinflate fully. I'm 13 days post-op today and as fast as time flies, we'll be thin and feeling great before we can bat an eye. God bless and please keep us posted...

Thank you all for your responses and well wishes. I am so glad that you all gained weight in the beginning too. I was starting to think I was the unluckiest person in the whole world. Who goes for gastric bypass and gains weight? I did think it was fluids, but dang 10 lbs of them. I was on furosemide. Anyway, I'm sure it will come off soon.

But I haven't yet today...

I also did not have the "typical".

, if there is such a thing. Then, my surgeon said this>>"Carolyn, you have to think of the first three months as survival and then, it changes to maintenance for life". Lately, I live by those words, especially when I don't feel like anyone else's story "matches" mine and I'm feeling a little down. I simply say to myself, "I'm still in survival mode and everything is going to be o.k." Welcome home and you are now on the road to recovery...
