The biggest enemy is Internet Explorer of course.
TARGET: MUST BE DESTROYED!

Others are just friends: Firefox, Safari, Opera

You are right about IE. Recently I wrote an article on my blog about Google's plan Smiley to save their service, Adsense, from what Microsoft was planning: a browser that blocks ads and will for sure ruin Google's revenue from its publishers. Smart move for Google!

You can see here (via Yahoo news) an article about Microsoft's newest browser

Even thought IE is a strong opponent. I don't think they will succeed. I would say Google is the best.

Any suggestions anyone??

I actually thought Mozilla Firefox was more of an enemy to Google Chrome , Because Google Chrome needs more work on Add-Ons because they actually don't properly support Add-Ons & Firefox doesn't at all and people are always saying "Firefox is way better then Google Chrome because of the amount of customization that is possible on Firefox Compared to Google Chrome" so I just always had the idea that Google Chrome's Biggest Enemy Was Firefox I might be wrong , but I thought Internet Explorer 8 was definetley the least competition as it has the slowest interface most annoyingly the slowest start-up and crashes most of the time. In my words this is how I rank browsers I've tried.

1.Google Chrome
2.Firefox
3.Opera 10.0
4.Internet Explorer 8
5.Safari 4
6.Flock
7.Konqueror

That's My Opinion Anyways  Grin

firefox and chrome are friends because google funds firefox and firefox has google in the middle of their start page.to me the competition between chrome and firefox is actually a race to see who can kill internet explorer first.right now i am using firefox and chrome and ocasionally flock.
1.firefox tied with chrome
1.chrome tied with firefox
2.safari
3.flock
4.opera it crashes too much
5.internet explorer

Chrome and IE both are good. I have both but I generally prefer using chrome because it allows easy accessibility to web pages.

Microsoft is doing a lot to compete with google like their search engine, bing. Many people consider it as good as google but I don't think so.

Internet explorer was good but that was way back then. Ever since I installed my Chrome I have always been loyal to it and I have never encountered any problems with it. It is much easier and faster to use plus a good result comes when you google it.

hahahah i don't think IE could compete with Google Chrome! Chrome is much better than IE. IE sucks! It's too slow. Chrome is pretty fast. I am using Chrome though my default browser is firefox. Firefox crashes all the time, chrome crashes too but i guess it's more because of my pc. I think my pc has a major problem.
