I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I bump into an useful answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably know..
Correct. So if they go through Performance - Air Intake - AirRaid PowerAid.
Then AirRaid PowerAid would be in the cart description for that part..
You doing an automotive osCommerce site? That's what I am currently working on..
Just a question...Why do you want to add the category to the cart of where they added the item to the cart from??..
Because the final description is typically just the model and year of the truck. So in the cart Ford F-150 2004 doesn't mean much..
It could be a grille guard or a air intake system..
This is what I thought of...So what I did was create the product name with like F150 04- Air Intake System...With a complete description of the item including make and model in the title. That way customers can search for the item too by entering in their make and model..

I am trying to find some code to put the Deepest Category Name in the Shopping Cart with the product name for added descriptive power..
Anyone know how I might be able to do this?.
What do you mean by the deepest category name? You just want to add the category name to the cart of where they added the product from?..
