I use Procel, no problems adding it to CIB or Juice, you can get it on line or check the hospital where you had.
I mix 1 scoop of Whey protein into 4 oz. Greek yogurt and put i/2 env. Splenda in and a dash of lemon. goes down easy, 31 grams protein .I think it tastes a bit like chocolate cheesecake...

I never found a protein powder that I liked but there are a lot of other protein sources. I think one of the best in small quantities is greek yogurt. If you like regular yogurt, this is creamier, maybe a little more bitter but with a huge quantity of protein per serving. Add some splenda...
I am a huge fan of Atkins Protein bars (the granola flavors).
I find them at walmart for about 5 bucks a box. They taste great (IMHO)...
Eggface's Maxx Protein is awesome....comes in many flavors. Some GNC's carry it, but mine does notso I just order directly from their website!!! Vanilla is my fav, then you can add frozen berries, cocoa powderyou name it!!!.
I am all about salmon. Baked wild Atlantic has 39 grams per 3 ounces.......so yummy for a Medifast food protein rather than powder or bars...
I like EAS powder mix, the Carnation S/F drinks, Super Whey Protien Shots by body fortress, yogurt, skim milks, Salmon, tuna, ground turkey, roasted chicken breast, ground sausage, cottage cheese, refried beans, lentels,.
I guess I'm lucky tolerating just about all of them, but I do have to remember to chew till they feel mushy! Good luck!..

Thank you all for the advice. I have some things to try:) I have to remember that the protein is important and quite freaking about the calories in things! I'm 3 months out and was cruising until I got sick. Guess I was cocky, and am realizing things are different for me, I do have to think differently about things! Getting sick and not being able to eat was a wake up. Thank you for the support!..
I found that you can add non fat milk powder to anything that already has milk(creamed soups are awesome with it), pudding, soup, etc. Adds like 7-8 grams for 1/4 of a pouch(I buy the box with 10 pouches in it at walmart) You can even just drink fat free milk with some milk powder, or sugar free hot cocoa.
I have been taking the protein shots and simply putting them in my water. For me they are too sweet and thick to drink straight and with my new taste buds they work in the water. I just to that a few times a day to get my added protein being I am only on purees yet...
