My 1st question is: How do I change the options for Photoshop CS5's 3D Medifast menus? Hoping for any answer. Second question of mine... Okay I just have to know if anyone here knows much about this.

When I was in my first appt for the looking into the gbs.

They said that we all may have a habit which was the over eating that we have had that habit of eating just to make us feel better.

Then they said that some people will form a habit in place of the eating habit cause like they said the surgry will not fix it.

That like eating habits are a psyc thingy and when we dont get our confert after gbs with Medifast food anymore that alot of people will seek another form of confert.

I am a smoker already have been for 15 yrs now.

I already drink.



The worse habit I could get would be smoking.

But now I got energy and I get bored cause I dont eat all day now.

I love to cook little goodies for my family.

They use to think I couldnt cook but they found out a little differant.

Instead of eating all day I cook decient dinners now cause I can afford to much easier.

But all I wanna do is keep busy so with the weather being so horrible out side all I do is clean.

I dont drive so I cant breath to walk well specially in the wind and crossing our bridge wow thats even worse.

Okay no more rambling I was just in need of knowing if anyone really knows about habit exchanging or if this has happend to anyone else.

It can be any new habit in place of an old one..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I find an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could help you..

I totally have switched from Medifast food to shopping....they do say alot of times we replace the habit with something else. I have heard of the alcohol, gambling, and shopping are the most common.....

A sex addict wouldn't be too bad right??? LOL hubby would love that if I announced I was now a sex addict!!! :).

Rule #1: GBS does not fix your head..

That's why GBS must be thought of as a tool, not a 'cure'. It requires a change in lifestyle and an understanding that there is indeed, a potential for what you call 'habit exchange'..

Like this can help - as well as face-to-face.

If it becomes a serious issue, dont wait - seek professional.


And for heaven's sake, quit smoking. Chew the gum or whatever it takes but smoking combined with obesity is probably not the best choice. (That's coming from a former smoker who was obese.)..

In my prime i'd drink, smoke, over eat and take drugs (most illegal) on a daily basis. Now after wls the only thing I seen to overdue is mountain.


Imagine that in 100 days I've gone from an obese smoking lush to a habitual exerciser. WTF, talk about habit exchanging..

The one consistency is I'm still a loon!..

From comfort eating to obsessive cleaning. I can hear a plate clank in the sink from the other room, and like a bat out of hell I'm the clean police with my ultra moody self breathing fire on said offenders! muaha! my house does look nice though. no more sock and underwear 'ornaments' on the floors in the bathrooms. kids are terrified of mom! (dun duun dunnn!)..
