My question is How do I transfer my iPage domain to apache serv on my own pc? Hoping for any answer. Another question... I have to show total price of the products excluding VAT on the catalog/checkout_confirmation.php page instead of Sub-Total..

But the show prices with TAX feature should stay enabled..

Which code snippet should I modify to make it work...

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I find an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you an answer..

Hi Dave!.

You didnt read my post thoughtfully..

I just missed to type "Display price with Tax" instead "show". Because if not then the product info and product list pages will displays the exl VAT prices..

I added a mod to display both price so it will uncomfortable to have the same price for inc and exl VAT..

There is no other solution but modify the php code itself. Turnin on and off admin switch wont work in this case..

Cheers.

I figured out that I should create a different sub-total modul then modify the other dependent files..

OK.

But how?.

Are there anybody who has the necessary programming experience to help me?..

Is this what your trying to achieve??.

Prices ex VAT.

Took me I while to work out but got there in the end..

I read the topic suggested by you..

Your solution is very close to my needs..

But it's hardcoded..

The goal what I like to achieve is to delete the VAT adding step from the subtotal calculation process and I will start a new topic with the above title..

Are you a native english? Im not. Is this title understandable?.

"How to to delete the VAT adding step from the subtotal calculation process?".

I think finally there will be a new ot_subtotal module..

Cheers,.

I'm in the UK, so yep that's my native language.

Could you give an example of what your looking for by showing an order total e.g..

Cart Total: 59.56 (ex VAT).

Shipping: 6.09 (ex VAT).

Sub-Total: 65.65 (ex VAT).

VAT: 11.49.

Total: 77.14 (total including VAT)..

Im looking for exactly the same as your..

But if I turn off display price with tax then the shopping cart infobox (catalog), the orders and invoice page (admin) displays the exc VAT price which is not good for me..

I dont know if VAT 1.1 contribution fix this or not. This contrib isnt good for me cos. I have to display both prices regarless of the logging status..

I can fix the shopping cart infobox to display price inc VAT by adding an 1.25 multiplier to the right code part..

How can I fix the orders and invoice page in admin to display exc VAT and inc VAT? Currently both pages displays only exc VAT price...

Andrew,.

First turn off the tax in configuration, then install this contribution.

VAT display.

Then follow the intructions from the other link that I gave you in the post above.

As far as i'm aware, this is the only way that I know to get the result your looking for, we've use this for the last 12 months & it works great for us.

Good luck.

Sorry Andrew, forgot to add, there are some pages that you do need to hard code, eg from the index page etc.

<?php //echo number_format(($product_info_values['products_price']*(117.5/100)), 2, '.', ''); ?>  .

Paul,.

It's about 12 months now since we installed this so, I'm not sure where all the code changes are, so my advise would be to install the contribution..

Then let me know, where the rest of your problems are & I'll look through our code & advise you of the rest etc ......

I used contribution 1737 VAT Price Incl and Excl. Maybe that why isnt worked for me..

I'll try your solution...

Same code with few differences:.

- display prices based on log status.

- "Inc.

VAT.

" and "Exl.

VAT.

" has a link to a VAT description page.

And the shopping cart info box still displays Exc VAT prices which is not good for me..

I uninstalled the mod and put back my old one cos it have multilanguage compatibility..

Made by myself.

The codes are nearly the same in both conribution!!!.

Rest of the problem: (still the same).

- shopping cart infobox in catalog and orders and invoice page in admin (need to add a multiplier somewhere to show Inc VAT..

So we need the list of those files to include this code:.

What is the purpose of the code and why 117.5/100 and not 1.175?..

Hey.

Used the Michelle's VAT Display v1.1 contribution and installed ok....

Added Davee's code as per this and the other linked thread....

The major problem I can see is that my shipping is not being added to the subtotal, please refer to below....

Order Confirmation Page.

1 x Baby Bangle 1 40.00 (inc VAT) 34.04(ex VAT).

Zone International (Shipping to GB : 3.4 lb(s)): 4.00.

Sub-Total: 34.04.

VAT + for non-EU members: 5.96.

Total: 44.00.

So anyone know my my shipping is not being added to the subtotal?.

Also why is this 'incorrect' text "+ for non-EU members" added to the shipping line?.

Best Regards and Thanks a Million.

Hi, I have followed the link you have give and then followed the instructions to a tee, I have the excl vat and inc vat as it should be but both values are the same price as the excl vat price. I have set the 'Display prices with tax' set to true as indicated. Please help.

Kind regards.

Hi Andrew,.

Login to the Admin section of your osCommerce store.

Then follow the Configuration link, then the link My Store - here you should update/change the following:.

To set to EXCLUSIVE: The variable "Display Price with Tax" should be set to false..

To set to INCLUSIVE: The variable "Display Price with Tax" should be set to true..

Hope that helps.
