Friday February 19th, 2010. I got home yesterday, couple little issues......but I am so ready to rock and roll......more figuratively than literally right now. Cant wait for your input and advice!.

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an useful answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably can answer it..

My best advice for this stage is rest when you feel tired. When you are awake/up and moving, even.


Around the house in the beginning is key. Sip, sip and sip some more. Work on getting that protein in, though my nutritionist said she'd be happy to see me getting 2 protein drinks in a day by week 5-6. I was able to be on target for that with some work. Other docs/nutritionists may vary in their expectations, so check with yours..

Welcome and enjoy this experience. Advice..........don't overdo it. Rest, sip, walk, rest, sip, walk........repeat as needed..

Give yourself time to heal, you just had major.


It takes a bit of time to get in all of the fluid and protein they recommend. I'm 5 months out and still don't get all mine in..

The journey to the new you has good moments and bad..........there will be plateause in your weight loss. Measure yourself now, so that you can keep track of inches lost. Cause they say when the scales not moving, the inches are..

Walk as much as you can as it helps with the recovery and sip sip sip. Don't worry about anything else. FLUIDS most important right now.....

Relax, relax and relax..

It takes a little getting used too and a little time for your body to recover...

Just get as comfortable as possible and join in the mayhem, your amounsgt the best of friends....

Hi yes as above listen to your body,when tired rest up..


As required and keep having little walks about, dont be lifting anything heavy,and yes keep getting sips of fluid, take your pain relief if needed. well done and all the very best,..
