Quick question: How to change vertical Medifast menu into horizontal? Thanks for any answer or 2. My 2nd question... Ok, so I know I haven't been on here posting much.... I have been pretty down on myself, stuck at a plateau and was actually fluctuating up and down 5 pounds, feeling tired all the time, and very agitated, cranky and most days down right bitchy! I was also very very very hungry all the time, and never felt full. I have been eating my 4oz of Medifast food very faithfully, and trying very hard to stick to the plan. SOOO, I called my nut and explained the situation to her.

First of all, I was not getting enough calories.

I was getting the protein I needed through supplements, and taking my vitamins, so I couldn't figure out why I felt so crappy. She said for my weight, height and metabolism... with me.

Working out.

Faithfully that I should be getting about 1200 calories a day. She also told me that I should be eating at least 6 oz of Medifast food at a meal, all the way up to 8 oz or a cup unchewed. I have literally been starving myself, and this is why my loss stalled, and I was feeling sooo bad. I started eating bigger portions of the good stuff, and it has left me feeling more satisfied, and not like I am still hungry. My thought is, that after 14 months, and still having issues, that this message will reach someone else also. I am finally losing again, and feeling much better!.

I also wanted to share with everyone that I am taking another step in my transformation on Friday, and having Lasik.

Surgery.

... NO MORE GLASSES OR CONTACTS! Wooo Hoooo! I also cut off all my hair, and am sporting a new style... and it feels great! I.

Hope.

This message finds everyone well, and that you are all being successful losers! (oxymoron huh?) :) Keep up the good work!.

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..

Thank you for your awesome update. Your information will be very usefull for quite a few people. My sister and I both had GBS done in December 09. She can't eat much without dumping. A lot of Medifast food intake makes her feel sick. She gets headaches a lot too.

I on the other hand can eat just about anything I want without feeling ill. I eat anything I want, but I make sure it is only a small amount and that it is a healthy food. I eat until I feel full and satisfied. She started 12 days ahead of me and I am 10 lbs less than her. It gives an example of how our bodies try to hold onto our fat reserves when we are starving them.

It is a survival mechanism..

Keep up you losing, loser. :).

Sincerely,.

Oh, and I wanted to say that Lasik is fantastic. It's one of those things that you will have done and ask yourself, "Why didn't I do that sooner?" ha. I told myself that five years ago when I had it done. It's awesome! Instant sight. I remember seeing across the room and.

Reading.

A sign that had small print on it the mintue I sat up from the table. Love, love, love it!!!..

I'm new to this group but am loving hearing all the success stories. I'm glad you talked to your "nut" assuming a doc or dieatician and got on the right track. At 16-18 mos out most people should be phasing out the protein drinks and relying more on real food. Those are mostly for the beginning when you can't handle eating real Medifast food or maybe for an easy breakfast when you are on the go. I eat a protein bar for breakfast and love them. Hopefully you will be feeling better in no time and your weight loss will increase.

You're probly losing inches :) Goodluck..

Maybe that's my problem too. I'm 12 months out now, big time stall in my weight loss. Same up and down 5 lbs since THANKSGIVING no less. Thanks for the info on not getting enough calories, because maybe I'm not, I do eat about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of Medifast food at a time for dinner, but feel a little guiltier if it's lunch or breakfast to eat more than say 6 oz. I will definately take a closer look at my menu because this plateau sucks!!!.

Btw - you look great and love your new hair style!!! I'm so jealous over the lasik, I would like to do that at some point too. Keep up the awesome work!!!!..

According to my program, at a year to year and a half out, you should be able to eat 1200 calories in a day and 1 cup to 1.5 cups at a sitting..

I can't see myself eating that much, but I'm only 5 months out. I do get 1000 calories a day though, mostly milk..

Kimmie - you look great!! Thanks for sharing the great information...
