I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably know..
You may now be Lactose Intolerant so try changing the Milk you use. Also my nutritionist suggested Carnation Instant Breakfast, of course SF because I was having a problem with the protein shakes. You can get this in bulk online, try Wal-Marts website. Post and let us know what you have found that taste okay!.
Hugs as always,.
I just changed to it and got it at gnc. I was using unjury and was happy with it but like this better..and I dont have to order it. I was so bad about waiting till the last minute..and now it's about 5 minutes from my house to gnc! I hated that the packaging was so huge..so I put it in a big baggie and I can get to it better!..
Peach, I get mine at GNC as well. They did tell me that not all GNCs carry it, it's a franchise thing. I get mine in Manteca and they have changed the packaging, no it's still in those big huges jars that are only half full, but the name is now Protein Ultimate! I make mine with milk, but sometimes when I want a "treat" or don't want the added milk calories I add it to water, and a few ice cubes a little sugar free carmel torani syrup, YUM-O! I got the Torani syrup on sale at World Markets in Modesto, not sure if you have one or not, but I have been told that walmart sells them as well..
I tried the max protien and it sent me into dumping. It has a much higher sugar/sugar alcohol level than the others you can get. The Pure Protien bars from walmart are lots better imo..
Just my 2 cents ^_^..
I can NOT get mine at GNC...apparently in N.E. florida they do not carry it. SEI pharmaceutical distributes it, (which you can google) is where I order it and have it sent to my home..
I have use a milk type product by a company called HOOD, called Carb Countdown. I'm not a huge milk fan, but this tastes like any skim milk you've ever had, but has only a few carbs. Not sure if for those who may be lactose intolerant if this would help. But it is satisfying, behaves like milk in your.
, protein drinks, cereal etc..
I haven't heard of anyone dumping from the protein mix....unless you used too many scoops, trying to get more protein in. Maybe cut back to one and try that..
For me, yes, I think it is the best of all the proteins I've tried. I am 9 1/2 months post op and still have one for breakfast many mornings. Quick, easy and tastey..
I like the Worldwide protein drinkns available at vitamin shoppes and trader joes..
They are the best tasting and have 35g of protein per 11 oz can...
It truly is funny how different we all are. I have never dumped from the Max Protein, (or Ultimate Protein as it is now called), but I HATE the pure protein bars from Walmart, (or any other place they are sold). They.
An after taste and I feel like I am eating cardboard. Its funny to see what one person loves another one either doesn't like it or can't tolerate it! Probably why there is so many to choose from, ya think? lol..
Thanks for all the suggestions, I am on a mission now to see what will work for me :)..
