Quick question... How will you enjoy your Easter & what's on the Medifast menu? Many thanks for any comment. Another question... After Andy posted "How much weight have we lost?", I shared with my husband how amazing it was that 80 or so of us had lost almost 7000 pounds, you might say I was a little intrigued to say the least. Then, the next day I started paging through everyone's responses to find others who were at about the same timeframe as I am and started comparing>>not good! Sadly, I then said to my husband how I must be doing something "wrong" because I'm not where others are in their weight-loss. Today I went for my walk, which usually takes me around 45 minutes and came back to a whole new "perspective", let me explain.

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could give you help..

Here is another thought for you..

A person who is overweight by 100 lbs....will lose slower than someone who is overweight by 200 lbs. It stands to reasn that the more you have to lose...the more you lose..

You don't mind the comparison) She has lost 200 lbs or more in I believe she almost at her year...or just passed now....SHE ROCKS>..I wish I lost that much....BUT she's struggling right now on her last 30to 50 lbs she wants to lose..

ME- the other Karla....Have only lost 155 lbs in a year and 4 months...BUT I too am stuck at the last 30 to 50 lbs that I want to lose..

Our about 40 lbs difference..

The difference. Karla is taller than me) She started at a higher weight...and her goal weight is different. Her BMI is different..

Simply put...we are very different...(but we both have cool

I could get down on myself about not being able to lose the 200 in a year...or even the year and a half...But I realize that shit...I rock too..

We all lose at our own pace...and that pace is whats right for us...for our original size, our height, our after size, our minds and our health..

They "Whoever (they) are....say that losing the weight slowly....and good...and will help your body adjust better...which allows for longer lasting results..

Ok i'm done rambling now..I'm going to have to go back and re-read this to see if it all still makes sense...LOL naa i'll take a chance...hehe.

Thank you for sharing that. I do get very down on myself, I've lost over 70lbs, but have stalled. I should be over a 100 lost but it is my fault, I know that and I do let it get me down. But if I think the way your husband made you look at it, that helps!..

Definitely gets the thoughtful husband award for today! Great point to remind us all...something tangible, like a can of something, or bag or something brings our weight loss back into perspective immediately. You are so right..

I find it interesting too, that often when I've tried that I can barely (or not at all), lift these items, yet I carried it around. No wonder I was tired all the time. :-).

Nothing to make light of loosing weight....

Its no wonder we get a little but fanatical about weight loss but your message is clear we all loose at different rates, some loose what appears to be so much more than others, some loose slowly..

What we all benefit from is a much healthier life....

Never compare, all in our own time and yes b all means step back and think about the enormous achievments....

Yes, he is a great husband and thanks for all of your comments. I'm trying really hard on concentrating on how much better I feel verses the number on the scale. As with everything, it is a long process, right?..

Now that is one man that is a keeper. Way to go to your husband. He is so right. Don't be down on yourself and compare yourself to others. We all are in this life doing our own journey in all body shapes. I need to take heed to my own words too. ;)..
