Got a quick question: I cant switch user in start Medifast menu, but I can in start up screen? Many thanks for any answer or 2. Another quick question... Last night I was throwing up in pain and could no longer take it! I went to the hospital where I got some great meds and a cat scan only to find out they could not find anything wrong with me! I did get some meds for throwing up and will follow up with the Dr on Monday. Feel a little silly for going in at all!..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I bump into an decent answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could assist you..

Don't feel silly. You were hurting and unable to keep Medifast food down. You did exactly the right thing. I'm not sure the cat scan would show something like a stricture (the opening of your pouch have closed to tightly post-op) They did an endoscopy to find mine. Also the ER Dr. is probably not an expert on GBS problems, so following up with your Dr.

You know your body (though you may be in the process of re-learning it because of the changes) better than anyone. Don't feel silly for taking care of yourself...

How weird that you would post this livininri, for the past couple of weeks I have begun throwing up as well. Well really not throwing up so much as retching/heaving but nothing really comes up. I also have had some pain in my stomach but I have been extremely busy and really haven't taken time to "eat" or even "drink" on a regular basis. I know some days I do not eat but maybe one meal (and it usually is a protein shake - plse don't tell Kaiser on me - lol). I'm hoping that it is not my gall bladder as I really do not have ANY time right now for another.

I'm actually emailing my doctor tonite to see if she may have a suggestion. Will be keeping track of this post! - Diane..
