First off, I need exact detailed instructions to transfer domain names from Namesecure.com to iPage.com? Many thanks for any response. Another question... Hiya.

Could someone tell me which php file I edit to get rid of the table_background_default.gif pic on the front page..

Its the image after the Whats New Here text..

I have changed this text to what I want but for the life of me cant see where the image path is for the pic next to the text!!.

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could answer your iPage question..

Cheers for that. Have now got rid of the gif image and centalised the heading title..

Do you know where it calls the:.

Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in? Or would you prefer to create an account?.

I know where I can change the text, but thats not what I want. I want to move this text and the:.

Welcome back..... text so that it is below my welcome text like this:.

Making Computer Systems Affordable!.

Now is your opportunity to purchase Computer Components and.

Peripherals, plus New-Build Brand Named Computer Systems,.

At very competitive prices to you, the customer..

I was wondering this as well, but only because I thought the "Guest" color was vomity. Unfortunately, after I found it I realized, "I just need to change stylesheet.css". Oh well..

The text you would like to change is located in /catalog/includes/languages/english.php (or whatever language you would desire)..

Cheers,.

Thanks for the reply..

I know this where I can change the text, but I want to change the position of where it is on the front page, so instead of it being like this (highlighted in bold):.

Welcome to CompuTek2000..

Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in? Or would you prefer to create an account?.

I want it like this:.

I just need to know which file calls the Welcome Guest!.... so that I can change the postion..

The english.php you suggested just allows you to change the text and not the position..

Cheers.

Oops. Use the catalog index.php file, towards the bottom. Does this do it?..

Ok, i'm not a pro or anything, but what I did was just find the image (catalog/images) and delete it. Then, whatever picture you want to actually show up there, just upload that picture with the name table_background_default.gif. You're basically replacing the picture, but keeping the name in the spot..

I believe the actual location of the path to that picture is in catalog/index.php. Look for (DIR_WS_IMAGES'table_background_default'); near the top...you can then change the "table_background_default" to whatever image you have uploaded that you want to use..

If you want to take it out all together than you can always change the image to 'pixel_trans.gif', which will just make it clear and invisible..

Otherwise, just upload the picture you want to use into catalog/images...then go into index.php and type in the name of that image, replacing 'table_background_default.gif'.
