First question I got is I registered a domain with iPage but host with another company.? Thanks for any comment. My 2nd question... I want to make it so that if someone types in domain.com, they get put to www.domain.com (so that my click to verify SSL will be valid)..

If poss, I would also like it to forward domain.com/index.php?referrer=eBay&ad=belt to www.domain.com/index.php?referrer=eBay&ad=belt etc..

Any ideas?.

Thanks!..

Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could answer your iPage question..

Thanks for the reply, I actually meant that I needed typed in addresses to be forwarded, i.e. a visitor would type in.

Domain.com.

And then they would actually be sent to.

?.

The only reason is so that my.

Box will show and authenticate properly, do you think it's worth it?.

Thanks again...

If someone types in 'domain.com' into a browser they'll end up on a search page or view an error. Unless you can get all of the companies producing browsers to change this behaviour then I'm afraid you're out of luck..

If you mean that you want is for someone who types in.

(instead of.

Or just www.yourdomain.com) to go to either.

Or www.yourdomain.com (same thing), then you can put a permanent redirect in place..

I take it IE works fine as I can type in domain.com (for most sites, mine included) and it takes you to the right place?.

Are people bothered about seeing.

Boxes though?..

I remember seeing a post asking the same question a few days ago and as I can remember the answer was the "yoursite.com" redirect to "www.yoursite.com" is set up by your iPage domain register. Ask them if they can do it for you...

In Plesk it has an option of whether you want to force a www in the url. I guess this is then sent to all dns. I don't know about CPanel...

The way to do via the configure.php is where you have.

Put.

For other forwarding, that is most likely coming from your affilliate..
