I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably know..

Well,.

I am using IE 6.

I can view source on this iPage site for instance.

But not on any of mine, I used to be able to, the only thing that I can think of that could have caused this problem is that I have asked my host to stop people being able to look in the sub folders of the root.

Like/images, but I only did that because it was a suggestion on here.

My iPage site is www.sharpsbooks.co.uk can you view source there?.

What is the fix? cos I would like to be able to as I am just startin to SEO my iPage site and is helpful.

Edit.

Infact the only one I can view source on is when the oscid is not there so when the iPage site first loads I can :s.

Here is the view source from your home page..

<!doctype html public "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">.

<html dir="LTR" lang="en">.

<head>.

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">.

<SNIP!>.

I've got the same problem with one of my sites. I haven't been able to figure why it is doing it but I have found a work-around. Try displaying your page and clicking on the refresh button. Then try viewing your source. It works for me but I have to do it everytime I update the page..

Jack..

Can you give more details? What browser are you using? What does it do when you go to view source? Can you view source on other pages? Have you installed any contributions/javascripts that prevent viewing source?..
