Yup, but you might want to make sure and wait for another person to confirm it as I am unsure of myself. Better yet, why don't you e-mail the iPage guys because they can help better...
I've just spent several days wrestling with EP, and finally got a grip on it. What's crucial in your case, I believe, is that first line in your tab-delimited file - the one that defines the field names. Make sure each of them is one of the following:.
... with no deviation. For v_products_name and v_products_description, you can have more than one of each, but they must be in pairs - v_products_name_1 and v_products_description_1, v_products_name_2 and v_products_description_2, etc.
As for things falling into a default category, I don't believe that happens - each line in your tab-delimited file needs to have a value in v_categories_name_*.
Also, make sure that each line begins with a unique number field (an autonumber, for instance), and make sure that the last column in each and EVERY line is EOREOR...
Hope that helps,.
Your best and easiest way for doing this, is to setup one of your products, which is in the format you want it to be displayed. then download the easy populate file in the admin section of the store..
Open the file, and see where your product is. then add your products accordingly..
If you have a sql error, means you have changed something in the easy populate file, what modifications have you added?.
Also, this post should go into the contribution support area, at the end of the easy populate thread. makes it easier and quicker for you to get responses from people who use it all the time..
The thread is here:.

Thanks for you ideas, My Up Load contanied: v_products_model, v_products_price, v_products_weight, Only. I got the list from the manufacture It had a few parts that are not on my web site. That's I think is where the problem starts. EP does not know what to do with the new parts or where to put them. It would be nice if it would default to a “new” Category. I think the Category data is left blank.
I am not a programmer of PHP, I do not know how to fix this..
When I use EP to down load all the data the new parts do not show. When I down load only the price quanty and part number I see the new parts...
And I'm certainly no expert either, but I think the category field is essential. "New products" and "new for this month" appear to be entirely tied to the date/time at which they are created/uploaded - I don't think they have anything to do with categories..
A quick workaround I would suggest would be to add a fourth field to your upload, for category, and whenever a product does not have a category, simply put "other" in that field. Then, once things are working and the architecture of your iPage site is all sorted out, you can go back and tweak the categories to get them how you want them..
Hope that helps,.
I uploaded a list using Easy Populate 2.74. The List contained only Model Numbers, Prices, and Weight. This list contains some new items that are not in the web site. I was not sure what would happen when it was uploaded. Their is now an error on the page when one of the new product item displayed is atempted. Do you know what I can do about this in the future.
That has not happened. I am able to temporally fix the problem by restoring the old database...
