That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I got an decent answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can answer it..
Lets see if a Canadian can help you eh!! Lets try the "Search" function, and type in "Tax, Texas" ... waiting ....
For your other question you have to delete the countries in your DB that you don't want to sell to (ie only leave the US in there). Then also in your DB delete the states you don't want to sell to..

Thank you... I have been asking about the search minimum character requirement of 4 and nobody has mentioned to put a comma after it before now. I will look at that stuff and see what I can find.
Already found something that looks to be just what I was looking for..
If anyone had ever mentioned that it takes a comma after a 3 character word to be able to use it... I would have never had to ask..
It was 4 characters for the first few days of this new forum and then went back to 3...
If you type in the word "tax" without the quotation marks you will receive an error about the minimum characters so the 4 character requirement is still in effect but using the comma and another word seems to get around that..
I have been reading and reading and maybe my brain just refuses to register the information but I live in Texas and I need my iPage site to charge sales tax to anyone that buys from me that also lives in texas but nowhere else.
Additional information: I only want to sell in the United States and to the 48 contenintal states (not alaska, hawaii).
Can someone treat me like I am stupid and walk me through the whole tax configuration step by step to get that set up?.
I would really appreciate it.
Thank you in advance..
What the hell?......
Don't I qualify for help too?.
I see people getting help like crazy within minutes of a question and I cannot even get a reply for days!.
What the HELL?..
