First question I got is My new huawei ascend Medifast menu button isnt working? Many thanks for any answer or 2. Another question... You know, I'm trying and trying but this is ridiculous. I had my conversion from.

Lap band.

To GBS 2 weeks ago today. Since that day I have only lost 8 lbs. (the dr. said last week that it would come off slower than a NORMAL GBS patient) IN the last week, it is still only 8 lbs. I write down everything I eat - which is 500-600 calories a day, 50-60+ gms of protein. I don't get all my water in but I get most of it.

WTF???? Really? only 8 lbs? I'm trying not to be like that but I'm really floored. From what I used to eat, this is nothing. It's like my body is rebelling!! Also, I'm hungry like every 2 hours and I eat my tiny little meal and then I'm full for 2-3 hours. You guys all talk about how you're not hungry, but I am!! Is it too early for me to be mad?? lol I feel like I'm reliving that stupid.

8 lbs is awesome sweety!!! I gained 3 lbs my first week, and was down 11 lbs the second week, (so it worked out to be an 8 lb total lost by 2 weeks out).

Expectations have a way of bringing us down, so try to throw them all out the window. You may still be retaining fluids from.

Surgery.

, and your body is in shock from the lower calories and trying to hold on to every bit and not give up it's beloved fat, LOL. The honest weight loss for most of us in the first three months is between 2-5 lbs per week, then it drops off and is a little less than that on average. But it really does all add up over time. Hang in there!.

Time +.

Patience.

+ action = success..

Oh boy sissy!!!!!!!!!!! Have some.

Patience.

!! It's 2 weeks.... did you really expect to lose a "buck" in a month?? Chill !!!!!!!! Imma hafta open a can of whoop ass tomorrow when I see you!!.

It's gonna come off - dont worry..... We'll be beauties by the summa time!!..

When I dieted in the past for YEARS, I didn't lose more than a pound a week. Losing on average 4 lbs. a week is amazing! You have to understand that your body is in shock and needs to adjust. I am 2 months post op and have lost 46 lbs. 14 of which I lost BEFORE.

Surgery.

Remind yourself that you are now a machine which is in losing weight mode, not gaining weight mode like most of us have been in our entire lives. Trust that it will come off. There are going to be ups and downs through this whole process. Dun Dun Dun.you might even have periods where you plateau.or god forbid Dun Dun Dun.. Gain a couple lbs while losing! Its a ride, but you are in weight loss mode and it will surely come off as long as you follow doctors orders..

Good luck to you and hang in there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..

They're right, you may not be losing pounds right now but I can bet you're losing inches! Besides your poor body thinks you are starving it and like Callie said is holding on to everything it can. IT WILL COME OFF! Give it a chance LOL. We're here for ya!..

As the others said, be patient, you're body has just been through major.

Surgery.

I was just like Callie, gained weight week #1, lost it week #2. I am only 3 months postop and I already have plateaus for weeks on end then just lose 5-6 pounds out of no where for no particular reason. You'll do great, hang in there!..

Listen to your sister..............and good luck on that ass whooping your gonna get from her........LOL.

Give yourself time......8 lbs. is great..

When I came home from the hospital I had gained 12 lbs.........so in my first 2 weeks.........I don't count any weight loss, because I only lost 11 lbs..........so I gained 1 lb..

Yesterday I had my 4 month check up, and feel like I have been slower in losing..

According to them I'm doing great. She said I should lose and average of 10 to 12 lbs. per month, so since.

Surgery.

It should have been 40 to 48 lbs............I've lost 54 since.

Surgery.

I really felt I was going really slow, and had many plateause..

So give yourself time........it will happen..

Stay Strong,.

You are going to be just fine it you chill out and let the 600 calories a day do it's job..

Luvin you.

It's funny to see you and your sister's interactions. My sister also had gastric bypass almost 5 years ago and I had my.

Surgery.

12/21/09. My sister says the same things to me. LOL!!!.

I also seem to be losing slowly also. I'm 37 days out now and have only lost 30 lbs. It does get frustrating when you might see others who are 2 weeks out and 20 lbs down or 30 days out and 40 lbs down, but you and I have to just keep reminding ourselves that everyone loses at a different speed, but it will come off. That's the nature of the.

Surgery.

One thing that I've started doing is measurements rather than weighing myself. I will be taking my measurements once a week to see the changes. I will still weigh on the scale, but I'm going to focus mainly on inches and making sure I get.

Exercise.

In regularly. You will be successful at this...

Awww Froman huney,.

Please consider all the water drips you were on during.

Surgery.

And recovery, you bound to have put some weight on.....

Its better than you think and yes your body will be in turmiol all over again, it fights back thingking, what the hell are you doing lol..

Be a little patient, Hide the devil scales or limit yourself to a weekly or monthly weigh in....

Dont be disapointed yet.... Its a question of recovering, ridding all the water stored and then you will start seeing the results..

Also consider, you may well be a lot smaller than some so have less to loose, it will all happen for you...all in good time....

It will hun, honest it will...

Confidence without scales.....

Watch the inches, they speak louder than the scales and a by far more rewarding.....

WOW WOW and WOW agina real soon ok...

Chin up sweetheart.

You guys are all awesome. I love you all! All except for that smelly MsCC. OMG!! lol..

I feel the same way. I'll be 2 weeks out of.

Surgery.

And I've only lost 7lbs. But I started.

Going to the gym.

On Friday so I'm hoping that when I weigh myself on Monday I'll be down some. I'm a little discouraged but I'm hanging in there. Taking the measurements is a good suggestion I think I'm going to start doing that. I know my body feels like it has to hold on to everything that I eat. But I feel like I'm not eating much at all. I'm like you I still feel hungry at times...
