I had that same back pain, too, except it lasted more like 12 hours. That was honestly the worst part. A couple times I got some chest pains too from the gas settling in my body. I tell ya what, I got super cranky because they wanted me to get up every 4 hours to walk and because of the pain in my back I wanted to drift off into blessed doped up.

Sleep.

And stay there but the damned nurses would wake me up....grrr... I stayed in the hospital for 2 nights. I'm glad to hear everything went good with you, congratulations and welcome to the other side! =)..

Mine only took two hours. Did they remove some stuff for ya? Too bad they can't make those operating tables more comfy. What am I saying?? I don't even remember that part. Regardless I think I would definitely be sore if I spend 5 hours on one..

Welcome to the losers bench sweetie!..
