Got a quick question: "Open with" at the right click Medifast menu doesn't work.? Thanks for any answer. 2nd question I got is.. I know we talk about this a lot, but what are we eating that causes constipation and what can we take to relieve it. I can only go once a week and thats just not enough..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could assist you..

I have the same problem. My doctor suggested I start taking a stool softener today. So I started today. I.

I found that unless I drink, drink and drink again along with some.

Or just plain moving my body that things do not MOVE ....so to speak. During the first few weeks it was definitely an adjustment phase but now am as regular as before.....as long as I drink and remember to move during the day. I also try to incorporate a serving of berries with my meals to get the fibre in me...

I'm going to try the Smooth Move tea (as others have recommended) and see if that helps me...I need more than just my.

And fruits (even prunes do NOTHING for me)...

At my 6-week post-op visit with my nutritionist, she said that drinking a lot of water will help. She said that I should be drinking at least 64 ounces a day, if not more. We really have to try and drink between meals..

I am about 6 weeks out and have been constipated ever since. I have tried everything like.

Walking.

,drinking about 78 oz water,and nothing helps..

So started taking Mirlax and that really helps. I go about everother day now. I.

I'm only a few weeks out and found that this to be a problem for me too. I agree with everyone - a little in a little out, however the intake of Medifast food sure did change the routine of the outcome! Someone recomended on this DS site: "Traditional Medicinals Organic Smooth Move.

Tea" Caffine free tea. I got it at the health store for $5.59 for 16 bags, I take it every other day in 10oz of water and it is great for me, not too strong, my nuetric. Ok'ed it Good luck!..

I just wanted to let everyone know to watch.

It's pretty much straight sugar. So if you only go to the bathroom no problem....But, you could dump......and feel like you are dying!.
