First of all Reinstall Medifast menu bar on internet explorer? Many thanks for any comment. Second question of mine... I have decided to have the gastric sleeve procedure. Has anyone here had that procedure or know anyone that has? I've been researching this for a while and seems to be my best option for me. I need to lose about 100 pounds and am also a vegetarian. My doctor agrees that the "sleeve" will better so that I can absorb the nutrients I eat more readily. Any input would be appreciated...

I'm a protein junkie. I know that I will not have any problems consuming enough protein. I have always had good protein levels probably because my body craves it. Thanks for the support. :)..

My surgeon recomended the sleve to me as my bmi is not as high as the "average gastric bypass patient" what ever that ment. but I was adamant I wanted the bypass as he recomended it the day before my.

Surgery.

And I knew nothing about it. although I have since researched it. and basicly it's like the gastric band but permanant. just restricts what you eat with no after care so to speak..

I had the sleeve.

Surgery.

On Jan. 26th. I was scheduled for the bypass and the dr. wasn't able to do it after we got in the op. room. So far I have convinced myself that it was the best for me.

Surgery.

Is not as life-altering or complicated. Also you won't have the dumping syndrome so there will have to be more.

Self control.

In the future when you start eating again. Good luck...
