Honestly I don't remember how much fat. I just made sure was low fat. I was always more concerned with the sugar/carbs issue and I got along fine. I was told try to stay under 10 grams for sugar and the info about the sugar alcohols is correct..
My nutritionist gave me a break down of what we need as gbs.
Calories 800 -1200.
Protein 70-100 grams.
Carbs 100-130 grams..
Fat 20 - 30 grams per day.

Has been changed to may. that's fine. she mentioned the sugar alcohols...
My doctor had told me about fats, that many experience "loose bowels" with too much fat...and that amount varies person to person. I find that can happen to me also, if I eat a couple pieces of s/f gum or s/f lifesaver candy...which I don't do often..
I too, try and just keep it low fat. I do use regular mayo on my tuna, but cut the amount way down, and add a little dill pickle juice for moisture..
Thanks for the responses, my husband bought me 2% milk he said you will just have to water it down.. I am so freaked out I made him go back to the store and find me 1% he is drinking the 2%..
You will find skim milk will taste great after a short while. The low daily calorie and sugar intake will change your taste buds to the point you will really taste the natural sugars in the milk. That will help drop your fat intake so you can enjoy it in other foods...
Thanks I already love skim milk and 1% have been drinking it for years.. the others almost taste sour to me....
