First question I have is Restaurants with a large lobster Medifast menu in maine.? Hoping for any comment. Second question of mine... Just curious if anyone out there did not achieve at least 100 lbs of weight loss by their.

Surgery.

Anniversary? It seems like a lot of people at one year have reached that goal and beyond. I'm just wondering how many haven't. I know that at lot of people who are past a year keep telling us not to worry, that the weight will come off, I want to believe it.....

I wish I had kept better track of my weight loss. I think I lost the first 100 in about 9 months. I knew I would lose slower as I truly hate exercising and I tend to binge snack. Weird how I can go for days with liquids only and then crave snacks the next three days. Now that I am getting back on my bike I find I have better control of my appetite or cravings for grazing...

Ok, to directly address your concerns: everyone has their own journey. Some folks with massive weight loss during the first year started out much heavier than you did, and may have a totally different body structure. I have a friend who is over 6 feet tall and dropped 60-70 pounds in her first MONTH. You are not very far along your own journey, so I wouldn't worry unless your surgeon gives you a reason to at your 3 month follow-up...

Keep in mind it also varies by person. Someone weighing 400 lbs at the time of.

Is going to lose a lot more weight (most likely) than someone who maybe weighed 275 at the time of their.

Surgery.

..

I started out at 295, I'm a little over 3 months out of.

And I'm down 76 lbs...

I have lost @ 50 lbs and am 12 weeks post op. I started at 231 and was diabetic prior to surg. I envy you all who were able to drop weight so fast but I am very blessed and grateful that my diabetes numbers are within normal range now. When I went to grocery shop yesterday and picked up a 10 lb bag of potatoes I was thrilled to know that I have lost 5 of those big bags :0) I am able to walk/slow run 3 miles now with my dear husband and we cherish that time together everyday..

Keep up the great work all of you!!! You keep me inspired to be obedient to the tool!..

It doesn't matter how fast you lose the weight. What is important is that you are getting healthier and you find a new way of eating that is not a diet, but a lifestyle that you can follow the rest of your life...

I agree....how much we lose is all personalized to each person because we all have different pending circumstances,,,we cannot compare ourselves to others. I started out very morbidly obese and I lost a lot of weight quick...now I am 14 months out and on a huge plateau. I have a very large body frame and even after 208lbs gone I still weigh over 200. I would LOVE TO be in a size 12 like others but I REALLY don't see this happening any time soon. I am just squeezing into a size 18/20 granted I am 5'10"....my ultimate goal would be to get into a size 14. But I AM happy with my HEALTH and with being WAY smaller than I was....let's focus on our own personal journies and steadily help all those through theirs...this is what it's all about right:).

I am now one year out and had hit the 100 lbs lost mark at 4 months post op, which includes 31 lbs I lost preop. I've lost a total of 151 lbs so far and only have 20 lbs left to my goal. You want to believe it, well, go take a look through my photos I've posted and see my transformation. It still feels unreal to me to have lost all this weight. Its gonna happen for you too, don't stress and try to just trust the process and enjoy the ride!..
