My 1st question is: What are the best ways to memorize a Medifast menu? (server's only)? Hoping for any comment. Another quick question... While I was getting groceries I got this 50 lb bag of potatos cause my daughter and roomate love them.

I tried to pick up the bag and my goodness was it heavy I had to have my roomate carry them and at the store the guy there had to put them in the car for me.

All I can think is I have lost 143 lbs that is almost 3 of them potato bags and I dont know how I ever carried that much on me all the time.

Cause I have had all I can do to just move the bag.

I cant even grip how I could carry 3 of them all the time like I use to.

That is deff alot of weight :)..

Good question... I dunno what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably know..

Potatoes are something that is off the menu for me. What I have discovered through trial and error is that potatoes in any form - even baked - and in any amount - spikes my blood sugar..

My diabetes is now in remission - but it is clear that if I make potatoes a regular part of my diet, my diabetes will return in spades..

It's a bit unfortunate because I love potatoes, but as I have modified a phrase I first heard in this group, nothing tastes as good as diabetes in remission feels...

I can't even lift 20 lbs. without my PLS causing my muscles to shake, so how in the hell did I carry around that 100 plus lbs I lost..

It's so crazy, I'm really working on trying to get more strength into my upper body, arms.........of course it's a challenge for me, especially anything that involves using my left side..

I imagine 5 lbs of lard.......................yuck, yuck, and double yuck...

I often think of it as big weights that I lift at the gym, I think of 140 lbs of them strapped to my back and that is how I used to be...

It is a great feeling, isn't it? I'm 75 lbs down and can move around so much better now that it surprises me. My BF and I went to the races in Daytona a few weeks ago and there was a TON of.


Involved. I was still fully of energy and not tired by the end of the day, and he was ready to drop.. he's 6'4 and weighs about 195.. as for me, I am carrying so much less weight it seems so easy to get around now...

I remember having a similar lightbulb moment. I was unloading my car and was annoyed that my husband didn't grab the 50 lb. bag of birdseed. As I lugged it into the house, I thought, "OMG!! I have lost almost THREE of these!!!" What a great revelation!! Felt great!!.
