What do you get with the free iPage email?

First question I got is What do you get with the free iPage email? Thanks for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. I am sellling items from a manufacturers Catalog and each item has an individual part number for each attribute. For Instance a Jersey has a color attribute and size attribute, for each of the attributes the part number is different..

What I am trying to achieve is, listing one product with different part numbers. Is there a way I can add an extra text field (for individual part numbers) in the product attributes page and concat it to the product attribute string?.

If this makes sense or if there is an easier way of doing it hit me up...

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I find an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you an answer..

Unfortunately that will not work coz I would have to add over 10,000 products and then add 100000+ attributes then go to the drop down list and then link them. Thats impossible..

I have tried using contribs like extended fields and even smart_attributes but they just dont quite do what need to be done. If only there was a way to edit attributes for a product as you added it either on the same procuct_add page or immediately after adding the product. It is just too cumbersome having to go back and forth changing the product attributes using drop down boxes..

Any suggestions will be appreciated!..

Take a look at an idea I posted..

I have a similar problem, and I think this would help, but I haven't had time to code it..

Let me know what you think...

Hi has anyone come up with a better solution for this? I have tried numerous contributions but none seems to fit right. I need to be able to define custom attributes for each product as I add the product. Its practically impossible to use the current attribute manager for a store with over 10,0000 items...

I am in the process of putting together a development "server" for this project. I guess we could use this thread for updates. It's not going to be finished tomorrow.

So please be patient...
