Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could give you an answer..
Don't you just love how good the oddest things can make you feel. I'm pre.
(2/11) but my little Wii fit friend gave me a calculated age of 51. Might depress a lot of the folks out here - but I'm 60! I feel gooood..
Congrats on being overweight. Its so much more fun on the way down than it was on the way up..
PS Its was pouring in San Ramon until a few minutes ago. it's heading your way..
That is awesome! I cannot wait to get there..
I can hear that squeaky little voice, "that's obese!" I can't wait to hear him say "that's overweight.".
That is great!! I am still overweight and always have been most of my adult life according to my BMI. When I hit my lowest after GBS (148 lbs- same as 18 year old weight), anorexic looking and the sickest from iron/b12 def I was still considered overweight since was BMI was still 25.5. I try not to get hung up on the term but how I look and feel. I gained 40 lbs back 2 years ago because I didnt do what I was supposed to: I ate white flour, drank way too much alcohol, not enough protein and more carbs- and my thyriod went out of whack- so it hit me quickly I would say in 3 months. I have been fighting to get it off. My thyroid is finally at the right level too.
I guess now being gluten allergic (and the cost of gluten free products) helps limit the carbs- and I am totally avoiding the rice, potatoes and corn- the ones I can eat on the gluten Medifast diet but are not good on the GB diet... Last week I did all gluten free and this week I am doing the 5 day pouch- hopefully this will jump start my system again..
But honestly if it says that then that is great because it is usually inflated. Keep up the good work!..
