I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an useful answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could help you..
It's so hard to tell what is gas and what isn't. I almost called several times for the same thing, thought I was going to die, and it was just gas. I think if it's something else, it won't go away, but will continue to get worse, if that helps?.
It's not something serious....
When I'm laying down, it doesn't seem to occur. It's only when I've been up and.
Slowly. I haven't been able to find a weekend number for the surgeon yet, I get an answering machine saying if it is an emergency to contact the hospital. However, I don't know if it is an emergency, as it's not a constant thing. I'm so new to this,I may be over reacting. It was just worrisome to have it occur once again this morning. I shall try.
Again, see what happens then. Thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it!..
Don't put these kind of pains off.go to the emergencymaybe it's not serious but it would put you at ease to know.Who knows it's just probably gas,but go just to know whats happening..
Hi Sandi, I had my.
The same day as you, I would get it checked out, you better be safe than sorry. Good luck...
Cut through several layers of skin and muscle. I think you are experiencing pulling on your incision site, which goes all the way into your adominal cavity. It was really bad for me b/c of my large gut. Rule of thumb is if it hurts at the incision site, you need to do whatever you are doing to cause the pain differently...
Was Feb 10th. I was feeling great (probably overdid it) and started having pain under my left incision Sunday afternoon (14th). I remembered everyone said the left side hurts the most, but I was worrying that I had done something...I was thinking hernia...rupture...etc. At my 1 week class we ate our first "real" meal and when the Medifast food went by that spot it hurt! So that got me worrying even more. Long story short, I went from the class to the doctor's office. The dr.
CT showed everything was fine. It was just muscle pain. The CT wasn't fun...but it did stop my worrying..
Worrying doesn't help. It is probably nothing, but I recommend calling your doctor..
I think I would call whoever is on call for your doc just to be safe. It could be gas, adhesions, or just muscle pain but better safe than sorry and worrying isn't going to help either..
Its nothing. Keeping you in my prayers..
Whenever you have any doubt, go to the ER. Its better to go and find out it's nothing, than to stay home and wonder and realize too late that you should have gone to the Dr..
Not just with GBS BUT ANYTIME in your life if your hurting/sick and it seems worse than other times, or not fimiliar... it's worth the bill to go to the ER than to have something bad happen. Trust me, your life is too precious!.
