Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an decent answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..

I just a little over 3 weeks out so personally have not gotten there yet. I did want to thank you for the work you are doing in the military and I wonder how much more diffecult it must be to have this.

And then not be in an area that it's easy to get the nutrition that you need..

Please try to stay on track and get your protein in first because we do this for our health not anyone else's..

God Bless and take care of yourself :)..

My mantra has always been, I can't eat it if I don't buy it. So stop buying that junk!!! Make a list of protein alternatives and have that on hand instead so you arn't tempted by an impulse to eat the bad stuff. Examples: string cheese (pepperjack is my fav), almonds, salami or other lunch meats, triscuits, peanut butter, protein bars, cottage cheese, yogurts, s/f pudding, s/f popsicles, etc..

Btw - you are totally not alone. I was slipping and eating junk too and gained 7 lbs last month and back up into the 200s. I had to re-enact my banned foods list to get myself back on track (no breads, rice, pasta, potatoes, etc.). So far I've lost 6 of the 7 lbs I gained. Hang in there, you can do it too!!!..

Hello Kat,.

Long time no hear lol... often wondered what mischief you were up to....

So we are the same point, under going the same with foods and dumping....

I hit a plateau for 5 weeks and had to kick my own butt, nobody else was going to do it....

So... I have uped my excersise by.

At lunchtimes and where I can, I have added more fruit and low and behold the scales have started moving agian..

Put it down to the season, the wether and all the changes, you know your doing wrong and are ready to kick your butt. you dont need us to do that for you...

So... make a difference, rid the bad foods and look at healthier options.....

You can turn this around, why go through all this and not make the most of it..Its all up to us.....

Pick yourself up.... focus and BEST FOOT FORWARD...

Glad to see you posting again.....

I agree totally with Callie. To help you get back on track, get rid of all junk Medifast food in the house and don't buy it. I am 8 1/2 months post op and I am finding that I have been snacking more. I love nuts and have a hard time just eating a small amount. I know nuts are high in protein, but I have to stop buying them because they are a trigger for me. I also like the sugar-free skinny cows, but I ended up having 2 the other day.

You can do it!..

I am 7 months out and having the same problem....I keep telling myself that if I allow myself to have a little, it will be ok....NOT. I need to get rid of the junk and my trigger foods (chocolate). I have been trying to snack on peanut butter and triscuits (even though my doctor doesn't want me to have crackers). I also love cheese, but I get very, very constipated when I eat too much of it....(ok I know, too much info)..

Like Callie said...we need to get rid of the junk. I don't need it and my family doesn't need it...
