Quick question... Where are the real wordpress and iPage reviews? Looking forward for any answer or 2. Second question of mine... The other day I listed 10 new mobi regs. that I had purchased. I was looking for feedback.

I ended up dumping 4 of the ten due to the members comments. Within 2 days a couple have been regged by the same person(dream sellers inc.)..

My point here is to be careful on the advice you take. People may not give an honest opinion because they want you to drop your names so they can reg. them. I am not saying this is what happened in this case but I do find it odd..

The lesson I learned here is to go with your instict. If you think you have a good name you should stick with it. Subsequently I will not be asking for opinions on any new regs. By the way, the names were and No worries though, there are still great names left to be had. Good luck to the new buyer of the two mentioned names!.

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you help..

I stick with my previous opinions on those two names:.

Gauntlet*mobi (ovt 5635) weak keep. though it's a dictionary word, it's basically just a brandable..

Premonition*mobi (ovt 6433) drop. someone else will register it and lose money.

When you dropped gauntlet, I saw it available, and thought about registering it. Then I asked myself if other, more-promising, more-mobile-relevant names were still unregged. Since there are, I am happy I did not register it...

I agree with Allan on this, my gut feeling is that this is not the case of someone giving you bad advice to capitalize on your mistakes, but rather a HostGator taster or a holding company that picked it up because it had expired. I think you made a good move by dropping those...

Agreed with allan; more often than not, they are picked up because they were previously owned. and like jagusa says, let someone else reg it and lose money, haha...

Perhaps it’s my blind eye but I generally believe people are good and that the vast majority of the time they have good intentions when it comes to giving their opinion. There are some exceptions but this forum is so well operated and moderated that those with bad intentions tend to be identified speedily..

I wouldn’t allow a negative experience to prevent me from asking for a knowledgeable view..

Best wishes,.

Hey a fellow Michigander,.

I am over it now. I am sure there was no bad intentions here and I love this forum. I found a couple great names in place of the ones I dropped so it is all good! Thanks everyone for the feedback and reassurance..
