Does bring up some interesting points. Everyone needs to remember this is a tool to use not a "cure all" and one I plan on following for the rest of my life. I have found it interesting when people ask when they can eat pasta, potatoes, rice, and bread again. Those are the foods (at least to me) that got me into trouble in the first place. It maybe sad to give up those foods but I like to look toward the long road ahead and how much better I will feel just eating protein and fruit/vegtables for carbs..
To eat to live and not living to eat is definately a change that you have to make to be successful in the long run. That also includes doing daily activities to help get rid of the excess energy we have...

I agree and I have been wanting to munch on carbs LATELY TOO....not good....I have started to adjust my thinking and have gone back to snacking opn cottage cheese, cheese beef sticks fruit and of course veggies and lots of em' ! :).

Such good reminders! At 7 months out, I find I can eat waaaay more (both amount and types of food) than I want to or should. I will have a taste of something occasionally but always push it away and remind myself that "Bread is NOT my friend!" I love it, and it hates me back - that's for sure. That simple phrase in my head keeps me on track..
