Quick question... Where can I get a mod Medifast menu for mw2 in the online multiplayer mode? Hoping for any answer. Another quick question... So I'm 2 1/2 weeks out and am still having some discomfort in the left side, it's hard to bend down on that side to put my shoe on or just lotion on the left leg. Bending to the right is no problem..

Did or does anyone have this same problem and does anyone know how long this will last?.

Peach..

All those stitches and stuff healing inside. They will pull, muscles will tighten and twinge. It should go away within a couple months. Good to hear that all of you are doing well...

There IS a reason for left side pain guys! It's where they put some sort of hook like tool that held our liver out of the way! It felt like I was kicked by a horse for awhile! It does go away, but it was nice knowing WHY I had such pain - lol; see you guys are not going crazy ; )..

The pain also comes from the gas they use to inflate the abdominal cavity for better access. It stretches all the muscles on the left side. Mine hurt so bad I was moaning loudly in recovery the minute I woke up (the nurse shushed me and told me I was too loud :P). It did take time for me, but it improves quickly..

Heat.

Helps alot...

There is yet another possible reason for the left side pain....I was still on pain meds at week three, for such intense pain on that left side, I was concerned something more serious was up. Had done all my.

Walking.

Etc., so didn't think it was gas..

Saw the surgeon a week early, just to check it out, and he said there was a lot of fluid that had collected there, likely from all that poking and prodding in that area, and that irritation results in the body collecting fluid in that inflamed area. He told me it would reabsorb over time, and by the end of 3-4 weeks out I would see a noticeable difference. He was right on the money. In the meantime, I took my pain meds, as he directed...

I had the same pain. My doctor told me that it was a stitch that he puts in to prevent a hernia. The pain went away after about 4 weeks...

I had the same pain, VERY worrisome at the time and I felt like I was the only one. Sometimes it was pretty severe and I could only.

Sleep.

In certain positions. It finally went away at 4 weeks out, and it dissapeared suddenly - one second it was there as usual, and the next it was gone for good. It was a HUGE relief at the time..

I agree with the pocket of fluid theory - I was told it was compressing a nerve, and as the pain stayed at a pretty consistent level the whole time, it makes the most sense to me...
