Quick question... Why did netflix for ps3 change the user Medifast menu? Looking forward for any answer or 2. 2nd question I got is.. Okay here's a question for the long-termers....or even not so long termers..

What is your vitamin regime like? When do you take your tablets? How many of each and milligrams?.

Have you tried other vitamin brands and switched? If so, why?.

I've found in my recent bloodtests that I am deficient in.

Vitamin D.

,.

Calcium.

,.

Iron.

And B's are on the low-end too..

Thanks,.

My regime begins in the morning with 2 gummy vitamins (I switches from Bariatric Advantge to save $), I then take mix my liquid.

Calcium.

(Wellese purchased at Rite-Aid)and my.

Benefiber.

With my morning protein drink. I always have a glass of skim milk for morning snack, then take my chewable.

Iron.

Mid morning. My B12 has been.

Running.

High so I take one 1,000mcg Bariatric Advantage sublingual B12 tablet twice a week. Two more gummy vitamins and another glass of skim milk before bedtime. I just had a MAJOR bloodwork-up and everything came back GREAT....so I'm sticking with it. (I also take 12,500mcg Biotin right after lunch)...

I'm 4 months out, and just had a check up on Monday. They still said that I wasn't due for any bloodwork..

I'm curious of my levels..

I take :.

Potassium.

99 mg.........1 a day.

Biotin 1000 mg..............3 a day.

Iron.

65 mg......................1 a day.

B-12 Sublingual 500 mg.........2 a day.

Calcium600 mg........................2 a day.

Centrum Multi Chewable.

Maybe I should have my PCP do some bloodwork..........what do you think?..

Hi D'arcy,.

I am six months out. I went into.

Surgery.

With vitamin deficiencies in D and.

Iron.

Since.

Surgery.

I have been taking Bariatric Fusion, and my 3 month and 6 month bloodwork was perfect. It cost a little more, about $7 more a month than buying all the different kinds, but it is so much easier and has everything you need....and you just take 4 chewable tablets throughout the day..

I will include a link if interested. The shipping is free, and they ship fast. I recommend orange or mixed berry, I thought the strawberry was gross. Good Luck!.

Take care.

I have been on Bariatric Advantage since day 1. For the first 6 months I took daily:.

2 chewable multivitamins.

1 sublingual B12.

20mg chewable.

Iron.

3 chewables or 4 scoops of crystals of.

Calcium.

Citrate. NOTE: the.

Calcium.

MUST be.

Calcium.

Citrate and not any other formulation. Of the 2, I LOVE the crystals - much easier to take, and not nasty like the chews. My experience, but everyone is different..

I also take:.

5000 mg biotin.

Probiotic with high live organism content.

The websites for Bariatric Advantage, Bariatric Eating and Obesity Help all list the daily requirements for supplements..

Based on my own and the experiences of many, many WLS patients, my view is that not only are the vitamins specifically formulated for GBS patients the only way to go, they are no more expensive than lesser-quality store-brands IF you shop around for the best price. Most companies offer free shipping with minimum purchase, and many are tax-free. Besides, what price do you put on your health? I have also found the savings in my Medifast food bill more than surpassed the cost of specialized supplements, so I have not experienced any undue financial pressures in geting what I need post-surgery. The result for me has been perfect labs, feeling great, and very little hair loss...

Im only a week out but I'm on:.

-OptiSource Post Bariatric.

Surgery.

Formula, Citrus, Tablets (these have.

Calcium.

So I don't have to take extra.).

-iron.

-vitamin D.

-.

Vitamin B.

Complex.

-.

Vitamin B12.

Sub lingual tabs.

- fiber..

Iron.

65 mg-1 a day (at bedtime).

Vitamin C-(at bedtime- it helps the.

Iron.

Absorb).

B-12 500 mg..1 a day (in the morning).

Calcium.

1000 mg...3 a day(breaky, lunch and dinner).

Centrum Multi Chewable - 1 per day (in the morning).

I also have to take.

Folic Acid.

(Cause it came back low) I cant' remember the mg off the top of my head but it's one tablet a day in the morning..

Just follow the directions of your nut...and you should be good..

You should never have your.

Iron.

With.

Calcium.

....and.

Vitamin c.

Helps it absorb better. Breaking up the.

Calcium.

Allows your body to absorb more as well....taking it all at once would be wasted..

To energy14.

I checked out this web page but I can't find enough information on the product..

Are you saying that this vitamin is all the requirements rolled into one..

Also is this taken one a day?.

The advertisement states that each bottle contains 120 tabs but if you need 3 a day that makes a difference..

If this is a one a day I don't really find it expensive at all..

At least they ship to Canada..

I am toying with orange cream... What do you think...

OK sorry I see the info now..

So it's 4 a day and the bottle is a one month supply but you don't need any other vitamins as per the comparison list..

Hmmm staggering these tabs 4X a day could be a bit tricky.....

Thanks everyone for the replies this sure does help!.

Particularly the one about taking.

Iron.

At night with Vit C....so sensible because you are not supposed to take it with other meds or food!!!.

I will be investigating the Bariatric Advantage site and ordering some stuff....shipping to Australia is mighty expensive though but hey our health is worth it right?.

Thanks a bunch!.
