I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I find an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could assist you..
Give it a little time, sometimes it takes awhile to get an answer. Remember all the help is free, nobody is getting paid to sit around and come up with answers..
Now the paypal problem is probably caused by the customer not clicking on continue to go back to your iPage site after paying you. You can fiix that by installing.
I think you want one of the newer paypal IPN gateways to solve your problem..
The link in the email doesnt work because the customer is no longer logged in at that point. I would just replace it with something else...
I was probably as impatient as I was worried about posting in the right place etc..
Just downloading the paypal fix and trying to figure where to find the place to change the e-mail link for the other..
Ciao and thanks.
I have looked at both paypal fixes and gone off the idea as there.
Are so many files to upload and change, I am frightened to try them..
Firstly because my iPage site is always very busy and I daren't mess it up etc..
Also, time is in short supply as well..
I must say, I am wondering if it is because of paypal implicating the new.
Return url system and it not returning to me as default..
I can't believe you actually went live with your store without checking those things out first...
You should create a local development environment. There are several packages that install Apache/PHP/mysql..
I did check the store out before going live and everything was fine, it just seems to be occassionally playing up and only recently..
There is a new thing at pay pal you dont need the contributions it's called auto return and you need to set that feature in the pay pal account make sure the link points to the right place all should be good..
